Yoga & Mindfulness

The mountains provide energy – and at the same time, peace. That is exactly what makes the atmosphere here at stoanmandl so special. For us, yoga is a wonderful addition to active days out in nature – for breathing deeply, arriving, & recharging.

Nature as the largest practice space

Some of the most beautiful natural spots in the Stubaital are waiting right outside your front door – ideal for your own outdoor practice. Slowing down. Time to let go.

After a day in the mountains, peace can settle in. Maybe you start the morning with yoga and a view of the peaks. Maybe the day ends with tea on the balcony and the quiet evening sun. At stoanmandl, it’s not about higher, faster, further. It’s about mindful time in nature, new energy, and the good feeling of coming home to yourself. Sometimes it doesn’t take much. Just a place like this.

Forest bathing – simply being in the woods

Shinrin-yoku, the Japanese “forest bathing,” is more than just a walk. It’s about consciously immersing yourself in the forest – opening all your senses, slowing your breath, arriving. The forests around Neustift in the Stubaital invite you to do just that: light falling through the canopy, the sound of the stream, the scent of resin and moss. No goal, no summit. Just you and the forest.
